First Year Field Trip to Western New York

The first year CGP class had a wonderful field trip in Western New York. They visited several museums and organization, including the Corning Museum of Glass, Genesee Country Village and Museum, Rochester Museum and Science Center, The Strong Museum of Play, Ganondagan State Historic Site, Anna Murray-Douglass Academy No. 12, George Eastman Museum, Women’s Rights National Historical Park, and Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge.

While visiting these institutions, various alumni imparted their knowledge and experience to the first-year students. These alumni included Jennifer Haines ’01, Peter Wisbey ’88, Michael Barone ’18, Nicholas Ricketts ’95, Marjorie B. Searl ’74. Additionally, students enjoyed connecting with local alumni at the Cooperstown Graduate Association Reception at Radio Social. Please see some photos from the trip below taken by Professor Cindy Falk and Professor Katie Boardman.
